چکیده

This study presents the performance of quarry rock dust (QRD) incorporated fly ash (FA) and slag (SG) based geopolymer concretes (QFS-GPC) exposed to ambient elevated temperatures. A total five QFS-GPC mix types were prepared. The quantity FA (50%) was kept constant in all mixes, SG replaced by 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% QRD. fresh, hardened properties viz., workability, compressive strength, splitting tensile flexural strengths, XRD for identification reaction phases evaluated. prepared mixes also heated up 800 °C evaluate residual strength weight loss. workability observed be reduced increasing dosage (0 20%) Superplasticizer (SP) used maintain medium standard workability. compressive, tensile, strengths increased replacing with QRD whereas a further higher (20%) mechanical mixes. specimens, temperatures °C, persistently contents from 0 20%. It concluded that can achieve 30 MPa concrete.

Effect of Glass Powder and GGBS on Strength of Fly Ash Based Geopolymer Concrete

In this study, the effect of glass powder (GP) and ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS) on the compressive strength of Fly ash based geopolymer concrete has been investigated. The mass ratio of fine aggregate (fA) to coarse aggregate (CA) was maintained constant. NaOH flakes dissolved in water was used as activating liquid and mixed with fly ash (FA) to produce geopolymer paste or cement...
